Why do people attend The Resurrection Center?

It is a place where you can grow, be challenged, be loved, and have fun in the abundant life that we’ve been created to live out through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

That’s what we are all about. Here at The Resurrection Center we have energetic and passionate music as well as teaching for today, but the most important thing is that you will always hear the truth of the message of Jesus Christ. So, we invite you to come and take it all in for yourself this next Sunday at 11am. Visiting us for the First Time?

Our Mission

Why are we here?

The Resurrection Cneter is the Place where Dead Dreams Live Again and we accomplish this through our simple process of Love, Connect and Serve.

Matthew 22:37 – Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Romans 12:4  – “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others”

1 Peter 4:9 – “Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen”

Our Core Values

What are the principles that guide us?

We are a people of integrity. We can be trusted, we are reliable and honest in everything we do. We are committed to the truth of the Word of God.

What we believe: Our actions, behaviours, words and thoughts are based on the principles taught in the Word of God. James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

What we think: That the Word of God should not be compromised by our actions but that we should serve with integrity.

What we do: We demonstrate and hold each other accountable in everything we do in accordance to the Word of God.

What is the evidence: We are known as a people of integrity in all our actions towards each other and in our community.

We are a people that demonstrate compassion to all. We care with the kind, gentle and understanding love that Christ extended to all.

What we believe:That all people are entitled to be treated with love and compassion. Matt 9:36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

What we think: That people matter, everyone should be treated with love and compassion.

What we do: We care for people and tend to their needs regardless of age, race, gender, social status or background.

What is the evidence: People are free to be themselves; they feel loved, welcomed, accepted and not afraid to be honest and open.

We are a people that innovate in everything we do. We are always finding new, better and creative ways of doing things.

What we believe: We are trend setters and not followers. We strive to improve, think out of the box, do better, be better to advance the Kingdom of God on earth. Matt 9:17 Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

What we think: That status quo is not an option.  We should always be asking the question “How can we innovate to move into excellence?”

What we do: We constantly challenge what we do in all areas by asking “why we do the things we do” and “can we do it a different and better way?”

What is the evidence: We are recognized as a people of influence in the Christian and business Communities.

We are a people that thrive for excellence. We are committed in the perfecting of our work through leading, training and planning.

What we believe: We are not to settle for “good enough” but practice excellence in every areas of ministry. 2Pet1:4. Our actions should not be half hearted, but must we give our best in whatsoever we do. And where we lack, we strive to do better.

What we think: That excellence is the norm in everything we do and it is in operation in every area of the ministry.

What we do: We are committed to elevate the level of excellence operating in all areas. We regularly benchmark our level of excellence in alignment to the set objectives.

What is the evidence: People are attracted to us and get involved in advancing the Kingdom of God.
